*THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST, ANOTHER FALSE IMPRESSION OF REALITY*
*THE WOMEN'S REPORTS*
According to John:
Mary Magdalene saw that *THE STONE HAD BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM THE ENTRANCE—(John 20:1-2) AND SHE SAW TWO ANGELS AND THE RESURRECTED BODY OF CHRIST (* John 13:18) (GNB)
According to Matthew:
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary saw *A VIOLENT EARTHQUAKE; AND AN ANGEL OF THE LORD ROLLED THE STONE AWAY, AND SAT ON IT* -- Matthew 28:1-7 (GNB)
According to Mark:
Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome saw *A YOUNG MAN SITTING ON THE RIGHT, WEARING A WHITE ROBE* -- Mark 16:1-5 (GNB)
And according to Luke:
THE WOMEN saw *two men in bright shining clothes standing by them* --Luke 24:1-7 (GNB)
*THE DISCIPLES' DENIAL OF THE WOMEN'S REPORTS*
In order not to tie ourselves to any false impression of reality, we ought to measure the women's reports against the following denial of Jesus' disciples to see whether the “resurrection” of the Messiah was a reality or not:
“After Jesus rose from death early on Sunday, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, *from whom he had driven out seven demons* . She went and told his companions. They were mourning and crying; *AND WHEN THEY HEARD HER SAY THAT JESUS WAS ALIVE AND THAT SHE HAD SEEN HIM, THEY DID NOT BELIEVE HER.”* Mark 16:9-11 (GNB)
Also, “Very early on Sunday morning, the women went to the tomb…They stood there puzzled about this, *when suddenly two men in white shining clothes stood by them…The men said to them, ‘…Remember what he said to you while he was in Galilee:* ‘ *THE SON OF MAN MUST BE HANDED OVER TO SINNERS, BE CRUCIFIED, AND THREE DAYS LATER RISE TO LIFE.* Then the women remembered his words, returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven disciples and all the rest… *BUT THE APOSTLES THOUGHT THAT WHAT THE WOMEN SAID WAS NONSENSE, AND THEY DID NOT BELIEVE THEM* .” Luke 24:1-11(GNB)
Now, the question is this: Is it possible to reconcile the disciples' denial of the resurrection of the Messiah with their own account in Luke 19:31-33? It is stated,
“Jesus took the twelve disciples aside and said to them…They will whip him and kill him, *BUT THREE DAYS LATER HE WILL RISE TO LIFE.”* Luke 19:31-33
Even the women themselves were '' *reminded* '' of what Jesus told them in Galilee concerning the resurrection by the “ *TWO MEN IN BRIGHT SHINING CLOTHES”.* (Luke 24:1-11)
Reasoning from the above, we can CONCLUSIVELY say that if the Messiah had really informed his companions about his resurrection, they wouldn’t have doubted Mary Magdalene and later the other women when they reported that they saw angels and the “ *resurrected body” of Christ.* They didn’t believe them in that.
*EXPLICIT REITERATION*
*THE PROPONENTS OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST ARE WRONG ABOUT WHAT IS RIGHT, AREN'T THEY?*
Again Jesus said to them, “ *I will go away; YOU WILL LOOK FOR ME,* but you will die in you sins. You cannot go where I am going.” John 8:21 (GNB)
And indeed, “…they are wrong about what is right, because *I am going to the Father and YOU WILL NOT SEE ME ANY MORE…”* John 16:10 (GNB)
*They really looked for Jesus. But did they see him?*
Amusingly, *Mary Magdalene, who was exorcised of seven demons by Jesus* , *went round looking for Jesus and supposedly saw him* . She claimed that she saw two angels and Jesus Christ when she visited the tomb, according to John 20:11-14. Others also purported to have seen Jesus after Mary Magdalene had narrated her story.
It is against this background that “Kitabullah,” the Book of Allah, has overthrown such claims in the following Words: “ *…and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but CONJECTURE. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]...* ” Qur'an. 4:157-158
Indeed, *LIFTING THE SON OF MAN UP IS WHAT IS RIGHT,* but not crucifying nor resurrecting him, let's bear it in mind.
*Truly, a mere thought of the Messiah's speculative crucifixion, burial, and resurrection conjures up visions of spirits.*
I believe we have had enough of such twisted reality, haven’t we? So let’s not escape from reality; mankind needs to return to the only and only True Faith of Islam—the Original, Monotheistic Faith of Abraham, Moses, Jesus (pbut) and the like.—The more the merrier!
